From George:
Follow the N2 in the direction of Wilderness. Continue past the Wilderness Village and over the Touws River bridge. Approximately 5kms further, you will see a Caltex fuel station on your right hand side. Continue for approximately 3.4kms and look out for a sign to your left: “Die Vleie”. Turn left and follow the narrow tarred road, cross over a single car bridge onto the gravel road until you come to a T-junction marked “Wilderness / Rondevlei”. Turn right and follow the sand road for another 3kms. You will pass the Malachite Bird Hide on your right and 400m further on your left is “The Middle Earth Gate” to The Funny Farm Shire.
From Knysna:
Follow the N2 in the direction of George. Travel through the town of Sedgefield and approximately 15kms further, look out for a sign to the right: “Die Vleie / The Lakes”. Turn right and follow the narrow tarred road, cross over a single car bridge onto the gravel road until you come to a T-junction marked “Wilderness / Rondevlei”. Turn right and follow the sand road for another 3kms. You will pass the Malachite Bird Hide on your right and 400m further on your left is “The Middle Earth Gate” to The Funny Farm Shire.

We will not be held responsible for any damage to vehicles or loss of property, neither to any injuries to yourself, family, friends or pets whilst staying on or outside of our premises.
Cancellation Policy:
No show or cancellation within 14 days of stay - No refund
Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before stay - 25% of the deposit will be refunded
Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before stay - 50% of the deposit will be refunded
Cancellation more than 60 days before stay - Full refund
Please Note:
Daily rates will be reduced depending on the length of stay. The self-catering house includes the use of all appliances, bed linen, towels, cutlery/ crockery, as well as the braai area and walks on the nature trails and property. There is no TV or WiFi available, but WiFi can be arranged at the owner's dwelling.
